Dasgupta economics of biodiversity review: will anyone listen?

What will be the long-lasting impact of the Dasgupta Review into the economics of biodiversity? Though, in its response to the report, the government made an important concession by extending the reach of the net gain provisions in the Environment Bill, this is small beer compared to what’s really at stake.
