'Significant toxic hazards': Report highlights growing risks from plastics recycling
All current and emerging methods to recycle plastics generate “significant toxic hazards” and, with plastic production projected to grow sharply in the coming years, risk creating fresh problems with toxic waste control and disposal, with resultant negative impacts on human and environmental health, a report has warned.
