Southern Water to pay £92.5m for ‘enormous’ sewage breaches

Southern Water is to pay a record fine for thousands of illegal sewage discharges on the coasts of Kent, Hampshire and Sussex over 2010 to 2015. Costs of £2.5m were imposed by Canterbury Crown Court but have been contested.
