For the first time, ENDS is seeking to draw up a list of the most influential environmental professionals in the UK – and we need your help.
The aim of the inaugural ENDS Power List is to identify those UK environmental professionals who have made the greatest impact in the last two years.
Our criteria for demonstrating impact are intentionally broad. Individuals who make the final list may have shaped or influenced national or local environmental policy. Their actions may have enhanced the reputation of the environmental profession. Their work may have resulted in demonstrable and positive environmental improvements. Or they may be unsung heroes whose work is delivering positive change without receiving the recognition you feel they deserve.
Whatever their impact, we need your help to find the environmental professionals who are most deserving of recognition for their influence. Please let us know who they are and what they have done that deserves recognition. The final deadline for you to make your nominations is 8pm on Tuesday 30 November 2021.
We hope that the ultimate special report, which will be published in the first quarter of 2022, will stimulate debate. More importantly still, we want it to be a genuine celebration of the huge reserves of talent that exist in the sector.
We are asking all readers to nominate as many people as they wish for inclusion on the list by filling out the short survey below. Should you wish to make more than one nomination, all you need to do is to complete a fresh survey form for each nominee.
Nominees can work in any part of the sector and in any role – please see the survey form for a list of roles you may wish to think about. However, to be eligible nominees must be environmental professionals. For instance, celebrities that campaign on environmental issues would not be eligible, nor would politicians.
