Role Purpose

You will lead and support the Pembrokeshire Environment Team, who deliver for Natural Resources Wales at a local level. Understanding and prioritising the focus of a team of 10 – 14 officers, across a range of functions, to protect and enhance our natural resources. Your team could be responding to a major incident one day, then engaging with stakeholders to enhance conservation and eco-systems resilience another. Whatever the activity you will be ensuring our staff’s wellbeing, health and safety.

Qualifications and Skills

You will need to have an understanding of the technical areas of delivery of the Environment Teams and Natural Resources Wales. You must be able to lead and manage a team that operates both in offices and as field workers, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. You will welcome the variety and challenge of a multi-disciplined team and be able to make decisions that deliver the greatest value for us and the people of Wales.
