British steel industry ‘doesn’t want coal from new Cumbrian mine’
A steel industry expert has rubbished claims made by supporters of a new coal mine in Cumbria that the plant would "support Britain's steelmakers with a new local and reliable critical raw material" and help ease coal supply issues caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, according to reports.
