OEP lambasts DEFRA for ‘frequent failure’ to meet environmental targets
An urgent environmental “stocktake” and an injection of clear accountability for meeting targets is required to bring the UK’s natural world back from dangerous tipping points, the Office for Environmental Protection (OEP) has said in its first major report.
