EA suspends nitrogen and phosphorus emissions reporting
Intensive poultry and pig farms will not have to report their nitrogen and phosphorus emissions – both major contributors to water pollution – from livestock manures for two years, while the Environment Agency develops tools to help farmers to calculate them.
