Bevan: Joint waste crime unit reduces risk of failed prosecutions
The Environment Agency is determined to avoid a repeat of “Operation Nosedive”, where an investigation into landfill tax fraud lasting more than six years had to be abandoned after the evidence requirements were not met, according to its chief executive Sir James Bevan.
