Environment minister blocks ‘complex’ water protection zone proposal for river Wye
Environment minister Rebecca Pow has rejected a council’s bid for the creation of a water protection zone (WPZ) covering the river Wye catchment, arguing that the creation of such a zone would place “additional regulatory burdens” on businesses and would be “complex to implement”.
