Medicinal drugs have polluted Scottish waterways more than 2,300 times
Waterways across Scotland have been contaminated with 26 different medicinal drugs over the past seven years, with drug concentrations often “thousands of times” higher than what is considered to be safe, new data from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) shows.
