‘Deep concern’: UK sewage discharges may be breach of Brexit deal, says EU

The European Commission has expressed “deep concern” over sewage discharges from the UK into the marine environment and will continue to monitor the situation to assess whether it represents a breach of the Brexit trade deal, a senior Brussels official has revealed.
