SEVERN: The poisoning of Britain’s Amazon

The river Severn, like most of England’s water bodies, is on its knees. Of the 400 rivers, 29 lakes and 33 groundwater bodies in its basin, just 45 are in good ecological condition.

In ENDS' new film, SEVERN: The poisoning of Britain’s Amazon, Environment Agency whistleblowers, experts and people who live by and work with the river give their testimonies as to how the river has been allowed to deteriorate and the dire consequences for people and wildlife.

The film will be released on 27 September, alongside a podcast, feature, new maps and a raft of related content.
