£3,150 fines for PCB incident

Renewed calls were made on the Government to tighten regulations on the disposal of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) by Mr Barry Sheerman (Labour MP for Huddersfield East) following an incident in which 46 gallons of the toxic chemical were left unaccounted for by an oil recovery company.
