Coastal communities ‘cannot wait’ until 2035 to reduce sewage pollution, says Conservative MP

Anna Firth, the MP for Southend West told the Conservative Party conference that while she “welcomed the government’s plan to eliminate storm overflows by 2035”, “coastal communities cannot wait”, adding that “[they] need action now”.
