Firm billed £23,000 for causing ‘unacceptable risk to the environment and local wildlife’

Armstrong Aggregates have been prosecuted by the Environment Agency for repeatedly breaching its permit by allowing water with high suspended solids (SS) to be discharged into Wasdale Beck, Penrith.
