Climate minister hails ‘fantastic’ bidding round for North Sea oil and gas projects
Energy and climate minister Graham Stuart has hailed the submission of 115 new bids for oil and gas exploration in the North Sea as “fantastic”, but campaigners have warned that the issuing of a fresh round of licences for such developments would be a “huge backwards step both economically and environmentally”.
