‘Five years of wasted action’: DRS to finally launch in 2025, DEFRA confirms

Campaign groups have accused the government of ‘five years of wasted action on plastic pollution’, following the announcement today that the long-awaited deposit return scheme (DRS) will not be rolled out until 2025.
