Environmental Improvement Plan will help ‘make the case’ for funding boost, says Natural England chief

The head of Natural England (NE) has said that she intends to use the goals set out in the Environmental Improvement Plan (EIP) to ‘make the case’ to the Treasury for more resources, while the head of the Environment Agency (EA) has said the agency is now recruiting more people than are leaving.
