The government is ‘consistently failing’ to complete reviews of environmental laws, finds OEP
Whitehall departments are “consistently failing” to publish reviews of the effectiveness of environmental laws, undermining the government’s “accountability to Parliament and wider scrutiny of how well environmental laws are being implemented”, according to the Office for Environmental Protection (OEP).
