Experts ‘preparing for worst case scenario’ despite improving drought situation

Following the wettest March in 40 years, reservoir capacity across England stands at 94%, while all but two river monitoring sites are registering normal or higher levels, according to the latest statistics, but experts have said they are ‘preparing for the worst case scenario of another hot, dry spell this summer’.
