EA insists starfish deposit on Teesside beach is ‘normal’

The Environment Agency has again insisted that the recent deposition of large numbers of marine creatures on beaches on Teesside is ‘normal for this time of year’, following reports of ‘hundreds’ of starfish being washed ashore over the weekend.
