Sunak confirms shift to ‘more proportionate’ net zero approach

UPDATED: Prime minister Rishi Sunak has announced that he wants to see net zero delivered in a 'more proportionate way', confirming reports that the government is preparing to row back on a raft of environmental commitments, including the phase out of petrol and diesel cars by 2030.
