Sector guides to BS7750 hit credibility problem

Sector application guides (SAGs) look unlikely to solve the credibility problems of the new environmental management standard, BS7750 - few exist and the quality of those that do is extremely varied, according to a survey. Certifiers, too, feel that SAGs will be little more than background documents for their work - putting the onus squarely on the accreditation process to determine the scope of certification and the overall quality of the initiative.
