Eco-labelling work starts on seven new product groups

Studies on the feasibilty of bringing seven new product groups into the EC's eco-labelling scheme have been announced by the European Commission. Meanwhile, an amendment of the eco-labelling criteria adopted last year for soil improvers is also on the cards following a UK complaint that the nutrient limit has been set too tight to allow waste-based composts to qualify.
