HMIPI fails to act in Scottish incinerator scandal

Scotland's HM Industrial Pollution Inspectorate (HMIPI) is allowing the continued operation of an incinerator in Dundee despite mounting evidence of high emissions, recurrent breaches of legal limits and poor combustion. ENDS has obtained fresh evidence that unburned clinical waste - including medical records - is present in clinker from the plant which is deposited at a nearby landfill site.
