Paper industry falls out over "chlorine-free" claim

Complaints by the Paper Federation of Great Britain (PFGB) against advertisements by Swedish pulp manufacturer Sdra Cell have been upheld by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). The company was held to have failed to prove that it had managed to "completely phase out chlorine" from its processes despite using "totally chlorine-free" (TCF) bleaching technology.
