WWF calls for ban on "oestrogenic" pesticides

The Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF) has called for a phase-out of several pesticides which have endocrine disrupting properties or are known to disturb human or animal reproduction. The group argues that the toxicity and environmental occurrence of many products need to be reassessed in view of the low doses at which endocrine effects can occur.
