"Impatience and gross neglect" cost demolition firm £25,000

A Welsh demolition company has been fined £25,000 after causing a major water pollution incident through what the Environment Agency described as "impatience and gross neglect." A spillage of thousands of litres of oil polluted a river, oiled waterfowl and forced the closure of a drinking water intake for five days.
