New air quality bandings "misleading", says NSCA

A new system for informing the public on levels of air pollution, based on standards in the Government's draft air quality strategy, has been proposed by the Department of the Environment (DoE).1 The National Society for Clean Air (NSCA) says the new bandings - especially for fine particulates (PM10) - will continue to mislead the public.
