SEPA questions use of gas in power generation

Using natural gas to generate electricity may not be compatible with sustainable development, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has told a major planning inquiry. The move is the first significant attempt by SEPA or the Environment Agency to address their statutory duties on sustainable development.
