Asthma study focuses around wallpaper plant

An epidemiological investigation is being launched into the health of residents on a housing estate close to a wallpaper factory after an earlier survey showed an unusually high incidence of asthma in the area. The factory, in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, has been the subject of air pollution complaints for 18 years.
