Eastern Group pushes its luck on emission constraints

Eastern Group has accused the Environment Agency of proposing "severe and disproportionate" emission limits which would prevent it from competing fairly in the generation market. But the complaint is hard to swallow - the company itself accepted tougher controls as part of a commercial deal to lease stations from other generators.
