Rover and Jaguar raise the stakes in greening of corporate supply chains

Britain's most ambitious project in greening corporate supply chains is under way in the West Midlands. Rover and Jaguar have asked their first-tier suppliers - more than 1,000 companies in all - to achieve or be moving towards certification to the environmental management standard ISO14001 by 2000. With EC funding, Rover is now working to enrol thousands more businesses further along its supply chain in the improvement effort.
