OECD offers MAI rethink, subsidy reform and eco-efficiency policies

Environment Ministers from the world's industrialised nations have asked the OECD to analyse the environmental implications of its proposed Multilateral Agreement on Investment (MAI). They also agreed a set of "shared goals" for sustainable development, which include making prices reflect environmental costs and integrating environmental considerations into other government activities. The OECD has also reported its conclusions on eco-efficiency and on the environmental benefits of reducing subsidies.
