Waste strategy for Northern Ireland takes shape amid upheaval

A draft waste management strategy for Northern Ireland was issued by the Environment and Heritage Service (EHS) in July. The strategy should help the province prepare for an impending upheaval as it implements regulatory regimes mirroring those in Britain - and contemplates future arrangements under the new Assembly's devolved powers.
