Scotland prepares for shake-up of waste planning under new strategy

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) is to propose a radical overhaul of waste management planning as part of its forthcoming national waste strategy. However, publication of the strategy has now been delayed until next autumn - and SEPA may seek changes to primary legislation to underpin its proposals.
