10% renewables target "appears feasible"

Energy Minister John Battle unveiled the Government's review of renewable energy policy at the end of March.1 The target to generate 10% of electricity from renewables "appears to be feasible", he said, adding that the UK was on course to achieve a 5% interim target by 2003.
