Sappi fined after "misleading" Agency over toxic spill

International paper manufacturer Sappi was fined £17,500 in September after causing a major water pollution incident. The company attempted to conceal the facts from the Environment Agency after seven tonnes of a toxic chemical were spilled into surface water drains.
