DoE moves to end "sulphur dumping" on domestic fuel market

Proposals to prohibit the supply of high-sulphur petroleum coke as a domestic fuel were issued by the Department of the Environment (DoE) on 16 July.1 The ban would curb the dumping of sulphur in the UK by US oil refineries.
