£15 million shortfall for Midlands low-flow rivers

The Environment Agency and water regulator Ofwat have clashed over the funding of low flow alleviation schemes. The shortfall affects some 11 schemes, including the Blakedown brook near Kidderminster, the Bow brook near Bromsgrove and the river Sherbourne at Coventry.
