New House of Commons favours green agenda

The House of Commons begins the new parliamentary session a good deal greener than it was before the general election. A MORI opinion poll has revealed that a large majority of MPs would support a more radical environmental programme than the Government's - and that newly elected MPs are greener than their predecessors.1
