Campbell Grocery Products was fined £8,000 with £1,223 costs on 14 December after pleading guilty to causing polluting matter to enter a Norfolk watercourse, contrary to section 85(1) of the Water Resources Act 1991. King's Lynn magistrates heard the incident occurred after food processing waste was allowed to enter surface water drains at the company's King's Lynn works.
