Go-ahead for clinical waste burner despite doubts over imports

Waste disposal contractor Grundon is to double the capacity of its clinical waste incinerator facility at Colnbrook, near Heathrow. But its dependence on imported German waste is under threat from EC legislation, and demand from British hospitals will have to rise for the investment to pay off.
